The pastor reference
One private question, sent to the pastor you name.
When your profile is ready, you tell us who your pastor is. We email them a link that works once and lasts 14 days. They tell us whether they know you and can vouch for you, and that is all we ask.
Their answer is never shown on your profile. It is used only to verify you.
No reply yet? You can send up to three reminders, at least 48 hours apart. After that, we stop emailing them.
From sign-up to your first conversation
Four steps. The third one is what makes Ezer different.
Sign in with a code
Enter your email address and we send you a six-digit code. There is no password to remember, reuse or leak.
Tell people who you are
Your faith and your church, your family and your work, what you hope for in marriage, and a few photos. You decide what goes on your profile, and you can change it any time.
Ask your pastor to vouch for you
Name the pastor who knows you. You can look around while you wait, but you will see only the first photo on each profile, and people see only your first initial.
Connect, then talk
Send a request to someone you would like to know. If they accept, you can message each other. If they pass, you are not told, so nobody gets a rejection notice.
What changes when your pastor says yes
The rules depend on whether you are verified, not on who you are looking at.
While you wait
- First photo only. Every other photo on a profile is blurred for you.
- A short profile. You see the outline of each person, not the detail.
- Requests, not conversations. You can send requests, but you cannot accept one or send messages yet.
Once you are verified
- Every photo, every detail. Full profiles, and your own name shown in full.
- Accept requests. Say yes to the people who reached out to you.
- Message your connections. Talk with anyone you have connected with.

Ezer exists to help you find a spouse. Your faith, your photos and your history are used for that and nothing else.
Photos stay blurred
Until someone is verified, they see only your first photo.
Report or block anyone
Once you block someone, you stop appearing to each other and they cannot message you.
Leave whenever you like
Delete your account in the app or on the web. Your profile and photos go straight away, and the account is erased after 30 days.
For pastors
You already know your people. That is all we ask of you.
When a member of your congregation names you, you get one email with a private link. Answering takes a minute and needs no account.

- Pastor accounts are by invitation. Our team reviews the church details before a dashboard opens.
- You see a member's name and the status of their request. Never their messages or who they talk to.
